Our Program
The Lady Health Visitor (LHV) diploma program at IMT Sukkur is a two-year professional course designed to prepare women as frontline healthcare providers in communities. LHVs play a vital role in promoting maternal, child, and family health, especially in rural and underserved areas of Pakistan.
The program equips students with practical knowledge and hands-on training in areas such as maternal and newborn care, family planning, immunization, nutrition, hygiene, and basic disease prevention. With a strong focus on community health services, students gain the skills to educate, support, and guide families in improving their overall well-being.
Graduates of the LHV program are eligible to work in primary healthcare centers, hospitals, maternity clinics, NGOs, and public health initiatives. They become trusted health workers who bridge the gap between healthcare institutions and communities, ensuring access to essential health services.
